3D2N MAKASSAR HISTORICAL TOUR
Makassar, also known as Ujung Padang, is a port city on eastern Indonesia’s Sulawesi island. Inside its 17th-century Dutch colonial Fort Rotterdam is the Museum Negeri La Galigo, housing local exhibits. A promenade along Losari Beach is known for its seafood restaurants. Throughout its history, Makassar has been an important trading port, hosting the center of the Gowa Sultanate and a Portuguese naval base before its conquest by the Dutch East India Company in the 17th century.
DAY 1st. ARRIVAL – TRANSFER IN (D)
Meet and greet upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport then transfer to hotel. Dinner in local seafood restaurant in Makassar.
DAY 2nd. BANTIMURUNG NATIONAL PARK – MAKASSAR HISTORICAL CITY TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast, take an hour drive to Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park (the centre of Butterfly Conservation Captivity with its stunning waterfall and magnificent caves). After that, 2 hours free time to swim or explore the caves. Then, back to Makassar centre, lunch will be serve at a local restaurant. Afterward, continue to South Sulawesi Miniature Garden and the remains of Somba Opu Fortress, Balla’ Lompoa – the former palace of the Gowa Kingdom. Then, visit Masjid Tua Al-Hilal Katangka – the oldest mosque in Sulawesi and the city’s Islamic centre – Masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami. Enjoy sunset at Anjungan Pantai Losari Miniature Gardenlate in the afternoon.Lastly, dinner will be serve at a local seafood restaurant.
Day 3rd. CITY TOUR – SHOPPING TOUR – TRANSFER OUT (B, L)
Breakfast in the hotel, check out then visit the traditional harbour of Paotere. Continue to Fort Rotterdam – an old fortress built in the 16th century, the city’s most iconic landmark then shopping at Somba Opu’s Souvenir, Gold & Buginese Silk Centre. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant then head to Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport.
