Day 01: Ho Chi Minh - Hue

Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, our tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own leisure.

 

Day 02: Hue (B, L, D)

After breakfast, enjoy a morning cruise on the romantic Perfume River to visit Hue's oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda. Then, visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc, and the bustling Dong Ba market. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Hue.

 

Day 03: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Hoi An town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, stop in Da Nang to visit the famous China Beach and the Cham Museum, which houses the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Upon arrival in Hoi An, explore this ancient town, including the 200-year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, the former merchants' houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful riverside market. Day 04: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L, D)

After breakfast, take a morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the largest industrial and commercial city in Vietnam. Leave Ho Chi Minh City for the Cu Chi Tunnels. On the way, you will pass by paddy fields and have the opportunity to meet villagers and witness how rice paper is made. Explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Ho Chi Minh City for a half-day city tour. Visit the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Ben Thanh Market, and other shopping centers if time permits. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 05: Transfer to the Airport (B)
