Hanoi-Nin Binh-Halong Tour Package - 7 Days 6 Nights

 

Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel, check-in for accommodation. Free time.

Day 02: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Lao Chai (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start for visit to Hoa Lu - the Ancient Capital of Vietnam late 10th century - early 11th century, which is called “the terrestrial Ha Long Bay” as its towering limestone cliffs and mountains spring up from the green, lush paddy field instead of blue water. Visit Dinh & Le Dynasty Temples which were built in the 11th century. We then climb 200 steps to the top of Ma Yen Mount for a fantastic view over the surrounding areas. After that, you will take a sampan on a river through the quiet and peaceful landscape and the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Tam Coc Caves. Lastly, you will visit Bich Dong Caves pagoda. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. dinner at a local restaurant, After dinner transfer to Hanoi Railways Station for an overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on board the train (4 persons share a soft-sleeper cabin).

Day 03: Lao Chai - Bac Ha Market - Sapa (B,L,D)
Arrive in Lao Cai in the early morning, our local guide will receive you on your arrival and then transfer you to a nearby local restaurant for breakfast. Drive to Bac Ha, traveling through the Chinese border town of Lao Cai to the colorful Sunday Market at Bac Ha (50km). This market also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups including the Hmong, Dao, Phu La, La Chi, Tay, etc. They still retain their age-old cultural traditions and are recognizably distinct from each other by their dress. The experience of this congregation is unique. You will also find trading of animals like buffaloes, and horses and also stalls of local hill-tribes clothing, food and local artifacts, etc. You will be surprised to meet some minority people here who are able to communicate with you in the Chinese language letting you understand their culture better. After the market, we enjoy a walk around the area visiting the Hmong King's former residence and Ban Pho village where the villagers make the potent local maize alcohol. Late afternoon transfer to Sa Pa. lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at a hotel in Sa Pa.

Day 04: Sapa - Lao Chai & Ta Van Ethnic Villages - Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we drive down the valley to the Muong Hoa River to visit the Black Hmong village in Lao Chai, one of the biggest minority groups in the Sa Pa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their own traditions and lifestyle. Continue to Ta Van village (1.2 km) to visit the Zay hill tribe people, a fairly small minority group of about 38,000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. Zay women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue, or green color. The Zay houses are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. Opportunity to interact with local people to understand their daily life. Late afternoon transferred back to Lao Cai Railways Station for a soft sleeper night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train. (4 persons share a soft-sleeper cabin).

Day 05: Hanoi - Ha Long (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will start a city tour of some of the city’s attractions including the fascinating Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday) and Quan Thanh pagoda on the shores of Truc Bach lake. This pagoda dates from the 11th century and is said to protect this region from outside invaders. Next, proceed to visit Ngoc Son temple in the center of modern Hanoi. Driver through Hanoi's old quarter, you will have time for shopping at Dong Xuan market. lunch at a local restaurant, After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Temple of Literature, which is regarded as the first university in Viet Nam. Then, we shall proceed to Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders which was recognized as World’s Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2000. dinner at a local restaurant, you will have a seafood dinner at one of the good local restaurants. Overnight at a hotel in Ha Long bay. Free go shopping at the night market. free program.

Day 06: Ha Long - Hanoi - Cyclo Tour (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, Take a 4-hour cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong among the 3,000 spectacular limestone Islands, visit grottoes and a floating village. The cruise ends with a fresh seafood lunch on board. after lunch, continue our cruise exploring the natural beauty of the World Heritage. Afternoon return to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, enjoy the Special Vietnam water puppet show, a unique and famous traditional performance. Dinner at a local restaurant. Take a short sightseeing tour by Cyclo through the bustling ancient quarter streets. Overnight at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 07: Transfer Airport (B)
