DAY 01: AIRPORT / MEDAN – HOTEL
Firstly, arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport—meeting service at the airport with our driver. Afterward, we transfer you to the hotel. There is a short city tour in Medan by visiting Malay architecture, such as the Great Mosque and Maimoon Palace, and shopping time in Medan: Batik house, pusat handbroidery / sulam, and Sun Plaza. Now that, check in hotel and free program.
DAY 02 : MEDAN – BUKIT LAWANG (B)
After breakfast, drive to Bukit Lawang, a rehabilitation center of Orang Utan located on the outskirts of the National Park Gunung Leisure. It is an 86 km distance, within a 3-4 hour drive from Medan; we’ll pass rubber and palm oil plantations. En route, Asam Kumbang Crocodile Farm is Indonesia's largest crocodile farm, with more than 2,700 crocodiles. Arrive at Bukit Lawang, check-in hotel, and free program.
DAY 03 : BUKIT LAWANG – BERASTAGI (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start walking through the river bank, crossing the river by traditional canoe, and walking up the jungle to see the Orang Utan at their feeding time. After feeding the Orang Utan, you return to the hotel. Next, drive to Berastagi via Sembahe village. Arrive in Berastagi and visit the traditional fruit market with many tropical fruits and vegetables. Check-in at the hotel. Free program.
DAY 04 : BERASTAGI – SAMOSIR (B)
After breakfast, check out the hotel. You will be taken to visit Sipiso-piso waterfall, with its incredible Lake Toba view & tonguing village, and enjoy Lake Toba. Rumah Bolon, the King’s palace of Batak Simalungun tribes, continue to Parapat and take a visit to simarjarunjung hill, where you can taste fried bananas & Bandrek while enjoying the magnificent scenery of lake toba (personal expense). Arrive in Parapat, from where you cross Lake Toba to the Samosir island. In due time, check in hotel. Free program.
DAY 05 : SAMOSIR - EXCURSION (B)
Excursion by car or boat (10 pax up) on Lake Toba by visiting Tomok to see “ the old tomb of king Sidabutar, with is an anting male legend, then visiting single-gale statue, next you will be taken to Siallagan village – Ambarita to see the stone’s chairs and tables, previously used for execution, here you can enjoy shopping for hunting unique souvenir made by local people (bataknese), check in hotel, free program, enjoy lake Toba.
DAY 06 : SAMOSIR – PADANG SIDEMPUAN (B)
After breakfast, cross back to Parapat and then drive to Padang Sidempuan for an 8 – 9 hours drive; on the way, stop at the Coffee, Clove, and pineapple plantation, visit the traditional village at Balige, and Sipoholon, the sulfur hot springs and Tarutung, the central of Batak Protestant church. Hereafter drive to Padang Sidempuan the Mandailing. Arrive in Padang Sidempuan and check in at the hotel. Free program.
DAY 07 : PADANG SIDEMPUAN - BUKITTINGGI (B)
After early breakfast, leave Padang Sidempuan for Bukittinggi on the way to Sihepeng to see the attraction of monkeys picking up the coconut and pepper, vanilla, cardamom, and cinnamon garden and then passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and crossing the equator line at Bonjol. Arrive in Bukittinggi, the charming town of the Minangkabau tribe. Check-in at the hotel. Free program.
DAY 08 : BUKITTINGGI - MINANGKABAU TOUR (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start for the Bukittinggi City Tour, visiting Sianok Canyon, remnants of Fort De Kock, the Museum, and Pasar Atas (Upper Market) for shopping and then leaving for Day Tour covering visits to the ancient Minangkabau Royal Palace in Pagaruyung, Ustano (graveyard) Rajo, Batu Basurek, and Batu Batikam. Then, proceed to Lake Singkarak, the largest lake in West Sumatra. On the way, stop at Ombilin River for sightseeing. At the end of the tour, you will see the beautiful handwoven cloth and exquisite wood carvings at Pandai Sikek Village, famous for its weaving & woodcarving crafts. In the afternoon, we went back to the hotel. Lastly, dinner at a local restaurant, free program."
DAY 09 : BUKITTINGGI - MANINJAU (B)
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, we will start for visit to Bukittinggi City Tour by visiting the breathtaking Sianok Canyon, remains of Fort De Kock, Jam Gadang (Big Clock), and Pasar Atas / Bawah (Upper/Lower Markets) for shopping. On the way, visit Koto Gadang Village, famous for its silverwork. Then, drive to Lake Maninjau, passing through the 44 Curves Road with 44 different sceneries down to the lake. Arrive in Maninjau and check in at the hotel. Free program.
DAY 10 : MANINJAU – PADANG / AIRPORT (B)
Firstly, breakfast at the hotel. Leave Maninjau for Padang via Anai Valley and Waterfall for a 3 – 4 hour drive. You are traveling along the western coast of West Sumatra, bordering the blue waters of the Indian Ocean with the sandy beaches of Pariaman.
