DAY 01: MEDAN – PARAPAT (L,D)
Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO), then transfer to a local restaurant for lunch (Halal Food). Afterward, we will rest/solat zuhur at the Mosque on the way. After solat, continue the journey to Parapat; drive along the beautiful road that offers the endless view of rubber, palm oil, cocoa plantations, and paddy fields. Stop at Pematang Siantar to buy local snacks: ting, teng teng, krupuk/crackers, etc. Arrive in Parapat, and check in at the hotel for accommodation and dinner in Parapat (Halal Food). Lastly, evening walk and shopping in Parapat.
DAY 02: PARAPAT - SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR - BRASTAGI (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel (Halal Food), Samosir island tour by boat: visit Tomok Kampung to see the Batak King‘s tombs—afterward, lunch at a local restaurant (Halal Food). After lunch in Parapat, we will rest/solat zuhur at the Mosque. After solat, proceed to Berastagi, a mountain resort with refreshing weather and magnificent scenery with abundant flowers, vegetables, and fruits. Without delay, visit Simarjarunjung / the highest point by Lake Toba, the ancient King’s Palace of Batak Simalungun / Rumah Bolon (Rumah Bolon), or the long house of the Batak chief. Hence, it was built by the XII Chief of the Bataks, Tuan Rahalim.
The long house was built of solid teak and stood on twenty poles. The roof gables are ornately decorated with designs in red, black, and white (the traditional Batak colors). DAY 03: BRASTAGI – MEDAN - TRANSFER AIRPORT (B)
